Great Vacation Shirt Student Dance with Danny Beck
We had a wonderful evening of 5 squares with many dancers wearing T-shirts sporting their favorite vacation locations and Danny Beck calling a student dance! Brecksville brought 10 dancers and retrieved their little red bear! He didn’t have much chance to visit with us. (We’ll be back!)
We have 3 more lessons before we graduate our 14 students on 5/22/23. We’re looking forward to having our “New Grads” join us for the summer and then in the fall at our lessons again to continue becoming comfortable with all the calls.
Since our square dance lessons are taught to the Plus level, our non-student dances are also Plus level and are not appropriate for SSD dancers. SSD dancers are welcome to observe but we ask that you not dance at our Plus level dances since our dancers expect dancers at our Plus level dances to be familiar with Plus level calls.
Given the temp, winds and general nastiness of the environment outside our warm homes and in keeping with erroring on the side of safety, we have reluctantly decided to cancel our student Christmas dance this evening.
Stay home, stay warm and look forward to our next dance on January 13th with Gene and Frankie Hammond with a cartoon T-shirt theme.
Remember, we will NOT have a lesson on 12/26 but WILL have a lesson on 1/2/23!!
